Muraco Elementary School Parents Association provides many opportunities to be involved in the Muraco community.
Muraco is proud to have an active and inclusive parent teacher organization (PTO) dedicated to the enrichment of our students’ educational experience. Our children at Muraco benefit from many educational and social activities made possible by MESPA through the generosity of our parent and caregiver community. MESPA strives to support the hard work and talents of our teachers and administrators by providing funds for enrichment activities, including all field trips and some all-school enrichment.

Fill out your CORI form
In order to ensure the safety of all students, Muraco abides by MA General Law 71,38R which requires that all schools conduct criminal background checks on teachers and volunteers. They are required to complete and sign a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) Request Form. Muraco personnel will additionally verify identity by photocopying a government issued form of identification.

Become a room parent
Room Parents work with teachers and parents throughout the year to coordinate class parties, extracurricular activities, and organize teacher gifts. Ideally each classroom teacher will have 2-3 room parents.
