Chess Club

We are thrilled to offer chess classes at Muraco with International Master, David Vigorito again this year. For the first session, classes are open to students in grades 2-5, then for the winter and spring sessions grade 1 students are welcome to join. The class is (approximately) half an hour of lesson/lecture and half an hour of supervised play. 

This program will run on Mondays from 2:30-3:30 pm and take place in the Muraco Art Room. Students will meet in the Art Room and be dismissed from the front lobby PROMPTLY at 3:30pm. Note: It is imperative that students are picked up on time at 3:30pm dismissal. If you are more than 10 minutes late picking up your child more than twice, your child will be unable to continue without refund. Thank you for your understanding.

Class size will be limited to 20 to ensure individual attention. The class is open to all levels including beginners.

Spring 2025 Dates (8 weeks) $225 per student

Mondays, Grades 1-5 

Class dates:  Apr 7, 14, 28, May 5, 12, 19. June 2, 9  (MAKEUP DAY: June 16)
