This Wednesday, March 22, is Crossing Guard Appreciation Day! All Winchester elementary schools are celebrating by having students write out cards (donated by the Winchester Coalition for a Safer Community), and MESPA will provide small gifts for each of our Crossing Guards. Muraco students will write out cards in school this week, or you are welcome to print one at home to write out/decorate. The names of our four Muraco crossing guards are below if you would like to address one specifically.

We are also celebrating our Winter Walk to School on Wednesday morning, so please encourage your student to walk, bike, scooter, carpool or take the bus (and say an extra thanks to our Crossing Guards along the way!) We will again be tallying participants and Mrs. West will award the Golden Sneaker to the class with the most participants at the next Community Meeting.
